My name is Dannie Wever and I love drawing little freaks.I've been making art since I could pick up a pencil. And I couldn't tell you how, but what started as doodling flowers and stick figures turned into an overwhelming urge to draw three things:Monsters, weirdos, and beautiful women. (Sometimes simultaneously.)My inspiration comes from a mix of the media I grew up with and still enjoy to this day, and the general terrors of existing. Some of my favorite things include early 2000's cartoons, internet creepypastas, video games (especially Nintendo), comic strips, colorful pop-art and cosmic or psychological horror. More recently I find myself inspired by Sanrio, Junji Ito and all sorts of indie projects (horror, animations, games, all of it). Nostalgia, discomfort, whimsy and sex-appeal are somehow all words that could be used to describe by work.While at the moment my preferred medium is digital, you can also find me drawing on paper, painting on canvas and even crocheting a tapestry or two.I'm currently based in Florida, USA, and every now and then I make my way back to my home country of the Netherlands. When I'm not making art I'm either wreaking havoc on SoFlo with my amazing friends, or tending to the every need of my pittie Benzin.
